We are always looking for talented writers who tell a story so captivating and compelling that we can't help but laugh, cry, or shout, sometimes all at the same time.

If you have a completed manuscript you would like us to consider for publication, please submit it for our 2023 publishing list review:
Specialty subjects: photography, travel, cookbooks, health/fitness, inspirational/motivational
Fiction: suspense, romance, fantasy, general, and historical
Young Adult
Poetry
Self-Help
Children's books: ages 2+
Don't see your genre listed? Send us an e-mail with your idea and we'll let you know if it's a fit!
Please note that while J. Mark Publishing does not accept all submissions, we do respond to 100% of all submissions. Once you submit your form below, you will receive an email confirmation that your submission has been received.
Please allow up to sixty days for a response.
If we determine that your manuscript is a fit for our company, we will email you asking to enter into a J. Mark Publishing contract. In the event that your manuscript requires a bit more work, we will provide editorial feedback. If your submission is not right for our list, you will be contacted and the file will be permanently deleted.

Serious submissions only. Unsolicited manuscripts will be reviewed; no agent required. Please review your work carefully prior to submission. Please let us know if your work has been accepted by another publisher during this process.

In the body of submission email, include:
-a query letter that includes the main hook of your story, the genre, the word count, a brief summary, and a little bit about you
-A detailed 3-5 page synopsis as an attachment

Formatting requirements include:
​Double-spaced
Common font (Arial; Times New Roman)
12-point font size
Word count: Novels should be between 50,000-100,000 words. Novellas should be 25,000-50,000 words.

Please upload a Word file or a PDF file of your manuscript.
J. Mark Publishing will only consider manuscripts that are complete at the time of submission.
